Disconnecting: RPC Error: recievetexture

Nope still recieving errors and yes i restarted server

I have the same problem. I have deleted SignArtist in plugins folder and in Config folder. But i have the same Problem

Here's a fix i believe, this will wipe all signs content from the map.
#1: Remove sign artist.
#2: stop server
#3: delete Storage.db file from server
#4: start server.

I havent confirmed this myself, try at your own risk.

 

Afaik Storage.db also stores the players blueprints...

 

Nope, only UserPersistance.db stores player bp

So I have 3 friends that play my server and when they try to join it says "
RPC Error:recievetexture" and they can't join but other people can there was 13 people online at the time and about 70 sleepers. Anyone know a fix thanks!

 

Remove Sign artist and delete Storage.db (when server offline). Then start it up.

I too have had to unload sign artist, which is a shame. Is the root problem the plugin or rust?

 

Here is a fix that will not loose your BP and data.
It will though loose stuff ingame.
I knew what the error was caused by as I used SIL and then got kicked, so yes @Wulf is right it is to due with SIL and a texture error.
What I did was I loaded a decay mod and forced it to decay every sign and poster at a very fast speed (50 damage every 15 seconds).

After a minute everyone locked out in the affected area could log in again.

Hope this helps, I might make a forced decay that is called via console to help if this happens in the future.
P.S I never had to restart the server or delete anything to fix this

 

I am still getting this error. I tried the fix by AlphaWar with no success. Any ideas?

when I get home I will modify the config of the mod I used, install both files and see if it works. else I will manually make a quick mod

 

And what if I am not the owner of the server and have no way to contact him? I was playing 5 minutes ago and now I can't enter...

 

You have a few options, Find the name out and if its a clan they may have a website, or post on game tracker, if they are running a modded server (most likely with this fault) you could post on the discussion forum, and lastly get a friend on the server to message them in game.
Most likely they will themselves find that the server has a texture bug in that area and may be trying to solve it at the moment

 

Oh god I solved it by myself!! I just thought a bit and try to kill myself spamming F1 when I was logging in again and..it worked!! Now I can respawn normally. So thats the solution hahaha.
