DeathNotes

There is a variable in the config called "Profile Icon" or "Steam ID" or such.
To change the icon, you have to have a steam account with the image you want to use as profile image.
You then use the steamid of that steamaccount to set the icon.

 

are we adding the new shotgun trap to the death notes?

 

are these two sections the only sections i need to edit to change colors of the chat text. i have changed them all on those two and got no results.

Thx for pointing me in the right direction. New issue. When I edit the colors here and then reload the plug in (after Savin the file of course.) and I run the reload command it reverts back to the default in the config file. Also I'm hosting through frag net if that matters.

hey wulf! is there any way of removing so that every time someone is chopping down a part of the chopper the death notes tells that the helicopter is taken down? I just want it to announce that when the helicopter actually goes down

 

Does anybody else occasionally get a "stabbed by Semi Automatic Rifle" message. Something along these lines where it's detecting a player was stabbed by a weapon that it's impossible to do so with? I haven't made any changes to the plugin code itself, so I'm not sure what's causing it.

you get that message when someone puts a player in the downed position with the rifle but then kills him with an ice pick etc

Also I finally got the colors the way I want them. I made a new steam id to have the icon I want to show, but when I kill someone now it just shows as a ? in the icon

 

is there an option to disable animal kill mesages ?

 

Open the config file and find line 150 and change it to only "AnimalDeath": [],

 

hey @LaserHydra , I use airstrike plugin on my server and I would very much want it to be able to see if someone gets killed by it, in the console is just says killed by an explosion but nothing included to anything in deathnotes

 

@LaserHydra would you be able to add seperate config options for PVE and PVP proximity notifications? Currently we'd like to have PVP notes server wide but PVE in a radius since Animal Kills can spam chat a bit.

You can always just remove the animal kill spam, check the post above you.

 

Yep we still want to keep that though since it's fun for players to see how far they killed Animals from. So having the settings seperate would be perfect

 

Anyone else having an issue where CrossBow and Bow kills aren't showing in chat against players?

 

If you dont have it in the config then it wont show

 

Does anybody know if it's possible to change the code so that it only shows the weapon that was used for the killing blow?

My players often see the strange message and accuse people of hacking for it.

 

hmm player deaths not reporting atm . Any clues? I havent touched the config.
