DeathNotes

Hello, whenever I edit the config file to change the colours of the death notes or anything inside that file and save it then upload it to the server (FileZilla) once I type oxide.reload DeathNotes, it resets all my changes to default ones, I can't change the colours or values of anything as they just revert back to the default settings.
This is really annoying.

 

you need to unload script first then upload config you changed then reload script

 

so take the plugin off the server, edit the .json file then re upload the plugin?

 

No you keep the script in place you just do the unload and reload commands

I deleted the json file and the plugin, readded it and let it recreate the json file and I'm still not getting any updates. Is this patch related or something else?

 

But how to translate names like "Head"? "Revolver"?

People Cant see it, cant be that i have to grant everyone acess deathnotes.see

 

Put a plugin on the server, and the event log sees only admin. How to share regular players?

I'm having issues too. Since the update no one sees death notes. Is there an issue? Anyone?

 

Death Notes is no longer a automatic display, You now need to set permissions for who gets to see them.

is there a way I can make everyone to see it and no have permission as the new update dosent let let me as 4.2 dose

I have turned animal kills and deaths to false , reloaded plugin and it is still showing it...

 

um this isnt working for my server ever since the new update just doesnt come up in chat any more ;( plz help we done wipe everything

 

I have moved to the old version from november. The new version sucks. You need to give permissions to everybody and then everybody has to use command to make it visible. Also it seems a bit difficult to make it work as I would like it. I will try to add new guns and keep old version alive for myself since it is simple and work well.
