Day Vote [Unmaintained]

@insane8472 What was changed in the version you just uploaded? Any reason you uploaded it to the post instead of updating the actual plugin?

Also, something's not working right for me in this plugin... Everything works great for the first night or two, but then it stops creating polls. Any ideas why?

Edit: Found the issue I was having, the patterns used only match integer values for the day/night hour and therefore will break if you enter a decimal. I had set my DayHour to 7.7 which is not equal to 7 and therefore it would fail to set the CanVote flag which allows a poll to be created the following night.

 

Does this plugin still work for anyone? For us, we vote to skip night, and it fails to skip, just continues on. This is not messing with any config at all after installation.

 

Made minor changes to attempt to fix a bug, which it did. Just never got around to posting an update.

Never thought anyone would use a decimal instead of a whole number. I'll see what I can do.

It should work just fine, at least it does in my testing. If you are still having a problem, pm me your server info so we can take a closer look.

i have big problems with this plugin. when i use it, it dosent change weather, no helis and no airdrops.

anyone have any good idea?

 

It shouldn't change the weather, only the time of day... As for airdrops, you need to install the dependency.

Are you still having this problem? I can't get it to do this with my testing.

Make sure to give yourself permission.
grant group admin dayvote.admin

 

Is it possible to get airdrops and heli spawns with this plugin? It almost looks like these don't work anymore...

 

You can use the airdrop settings included with this plugin. Make sure you have the required plugin for it.

 

Can I use this plugin: Easy Airdrop for Rust | Oxide instead of: http://oxidemod.org/plugins/airdrop-controller.804/ ?

 

I found that changing "ResourceID" to "ResourceId" allows it to correctly work with the Updater plugin.

 

I'm inserting this permission in SO many different variances and it just keeps saying "You do not have permission to use DayVote."

Try grant group default dayvote.admin or grant user your_steam_id dayvote.admin

Yeah I tried those, I just don't get after this big Rust update they did, there's so many things just not working anymore. It's like they changed something big time.
