1. I don't know c# or plan to learn it just to make mods. I happen to use JavaScript a lot so this was a natural fit for me, and incredibly enjoyable. However, it's a lot of work to maintain something like OxideMod, and to support features that less than 1% of the contributors use is a waste of effort for those at OxideMod. I am also a software engineer, and presented with that fact (that nobody except me uses JavaScript), we would also remove support for such a feature.

    I was absolutely crushed when I found out that JavaScript would no longer be supported. It was my favorite hobby, and Rust PVE/PVP balance is something I took seriously because it's lacking in the game pretty bad at the moment. Also, I was about 10000 lines into an entire game mode when I found out JavaScript would not be supported, so big kick to the face on that. That was enough to walk away. I appreciate the support from everyone while my MODS were working.
