Works. Thank you

Hey mate, just playing with my supporter around and testing all 100 plugins a bit and just found out that we can not see the messages from all channels shown to us. GlobalAdmin is activated. When i say something in a channel, he cant see it and when i am in a channel, i do not get any messages at all.
-
same here
-
Just to make sure, your supporter also has the permission chan.admin, correct? When you say you don't get any message when your in a channel, you mean your own messages, your supporter or both? Looking at the code, I don't see a problem with it and my testing works.
-
I do not see any messages at all, when i am in one of the public channels ( i am the only one in there). I get my own text but nothing else. If you like and have time, join my server and see for yourselfe. I can easily give you permissions there.
I am sure i gave me and my supporter the chan.admin permission.
[DOUBLEPOST=1441224715][/DOUBLEPOST]or if you have TS .. i can join yours or you mine .. IP: my-g.info -
Let me join the server, it'll go faster testing that way.

send you PM

Hey insane,
just had one more idea for the chat control. Could you make it possible for players with rights (admins/mods/permission) to move players into channels. e.g. I have a player joining the server and only speaking spanish. Then i could move him into the spanish channel, where he could get help from others players.
Cheers.
PS: Good working with you yesterday. -
Sure, I can add that functionality. Probably won't be until tomorrow though.

Hey mate,
NOTE: I deleted the data file, and reloaded the plugin. Now the channels are back and i see them ingame in the list.
still some things not working. Now all my channels are gone and i get errors when trying to create new channels.

Could it be possible to make the global chat visible in the "offical" channels but the users can not write out. Only they have the permission for it? (for example VIP levels or anything like that?) Or use a command to chat outside or enable / disable global chat (view) in chatchannels for users by command?
[DOUBLEPOST=1442096887][/DOUBLEPOST]And if someone write in a channel i just se [chat] [chat] in the console and not in which channel he is in. -
I'm trying my best to replicate these problems but cannot. What exactly did you do for the line 224 error? The previous errors and the new line 440 error all point to the data file. Could you post an attachment of the file? Thanks.
-
Hey Insane ... do you got time and come TS? Then we can do that quicker .... as i said i deleted the data file and after a reload it was good again. But here the file anyways.
Code:{ "Channels": [ { "bans": "", "mods": "", "name": "DE", "owner": "76561197985371", "password": "official" }, { "bans": "", "mods": "", "name": "EN", "owner": "76561197985371", "password": "official" }, { "bans": "", "mods": "", "name": "ES", "owner": "76561197985371", "password": "official" }, { "bans": "", "mods": "", "name": "PT", "owner": "76561197985371", "password": "official" }, { "bans": "", "mods": "", "name": "HU", "owner": "76561197985371", "password": "official" }, { "bans": "", "mods": "", "name": "PL", "owner": "76561197985371", "password": "official" }, { "bans": "", "mods": "", "name": "Support", "owner": "76561197985371", "password": "official" }, { "bans": "", "mods": "", "name": "admin", "owner": "76561197985371", "password": "" } ] }
[DOUBLEPOST=1442101331][/DOUBLEPOST]Cant find anything in the normal log for the 224 error. When the error happened .. nobody used a command or anything. Maybe just a random error.Last edited by a moderator: Sep 13, 2015 -
I will add a global chat option for players in channels with permissions and take a look at the console print. If you have any more problems, I can meet you on your server again, but that would have to be tomorrow as I am leaving soon. The 224 error is a message formatting error, so it could be anywhere but I will look.
