  1. When I kill a bot, it throws it from the server. What is the reason, I can not understand
     
  2. Good afternoon. Please tell me. In Rust there is a default npc and murderer. Which can be enabled via the command halloween.murdererpopulation. But bots are attacking the animals. How to deactivate this. Help me please.

  4. For folks just tuning in, the developer is aware of the issue. Steen "Sounds like OnNpcPlayerTarget hook isn't working, which would mean Peacekeeper, animals targeting(true/false), and weapon changes according to range.
    Won't get to a live server tonight, but I'll look into it all ASAP."

    As far as I have found, bots see through Vanish, will shoot at anything that moves, and arent utilizing kits quite the right way. Have faith folks, I'm sure he'll address it as soon as he can.

    Vanish uses the same two hooks for animals and npcs so it suffers the same problems right now.

    I see there's some workaround in place but it seems to freeze all AI for me while I'm vanished.

  7. I have 4 kits set up for bots, seems certain kits with flashlights equipped that is all they equip. They dont arm themselves and just walk around with the flashlight. The loot is fine (as in its not changing what the kits are) just seems if its setup up a certain way they default to that.

    These are the same exact configs since before update and I had tested with no issues. I could try taking out the flashlight and equipping them a bit different and seeing if that helps.

    i added these to my server startup {command line config} and bots are moving and patrolling their areas,
    +ai_dormant false +sqadmanager.squad_disable false

    seems to work quite well. i have Radtown Animal spawns running as well so it makes up for the ones the bots are killing

    All the info has already been posted,
    But only equip bots with kits that contain bullet using weapons you can e quip them with weapon flashlights but they are not using them at the minute due to previously posted reasons,
     
  10. Oh, ok. No, this is all part of the one issue. The targeting hook is broken and that's what they use to smart-switch weapons.
    For now, just giving them one weapon is the workaround. :(
     
  11. They definitely shoot even when I have no selected weapons, but they also still switch weapons. Weird :)
     
  12. Not as a result of BotSpawn code - I guess FP introduced the same feature. They mentioned recently they were going to.

  14. Hello, just installed the latest version on my server. Everything looks to be working from server side, I can see the plugin loaded successfully. I went through and set "Activate" to "true" on a few map locations (confirmed my seed locations available) and changed the counts of bots (within 5-10) and changed if it was murderer/scientist. I've restarted the server to make sure, but it never spawns bots, bot.count still says "0". I also tried the plugin reload command from the FAQ suggestions. Am I doing something wrong?

    Disregard, misunderstood the custom config versus the default config. My linux background was thinking default shouldn't be touched, and custom should be edited. Getting system hook error which seems to be a known issue, I shall await further updates.
     
  15. id love to see a youtube vid or something on how to properly install this. i cant for the life of me figure out how to get anything to spawn.
     
  16. Hmm When I kill and loot an AI I see it gives some random loot which is awesome but Is there anyway to make it have more random loot? For example If the Bot gets 3 slots filled with random loot can I increase it place random loot in say 7 slots? I know I could use kits and add what I like but I'd like more "Random Loot" Its very cool.
     

  17. I use a custom location here - You can just use existing locations in config, if you like.
    Locations settings are the same for both.

    A few of the features are not working at present, as detailed at the top of the overview.

    In terms of setup, the overview+faq is pretty detailed.

    Random loot was originally planned as a manual addition to BotSpawn but since FP have made bot corpses loot containers now, I think I should talk to some of the loot table plugin authors.
    As far as I know, bot corpses could be dealt with in the same way as crates/barrels etc.
    Feel free to post feature requests on the thread for your preferred loot plugin. :)
     
  18. I would love if Alpha loot was utilized. I know its a paid plugin but man is it detailed
