i use MagicLoot on my server and it works great, i can guide you through the config if you need.

And I can understand your reasoning but do not discredit other peoples hard work by coming to this page and simply stating "I'm not buying that, it's overpriced" for all others to see. Yes you may not buy 29k rims for a 19k car but would you stop putting gas in a $500 car once you'd spent £490 on it? Use your head. The plugin is there for anybody who wishes to purchase it, it's not required in order to play rust so if you don't like it, don't buy it but definitely don't come here talking shit either way. under oxide/config/magicloot.json ("MultiplierComponents:") is where you choose what multiplier you want for your barrels/crates. under oxide/data/magicloot.json is where you choose the MAX amount of every item that can spawn in a barrel/crate (set value to "0" if you dont want that item spawning in a crate/barrel period) i run a 3x sever so i set the multiplier to "3" under ("MultiplierComponents:") at the bottom of oxide/config/magicloot.json . if you want to multiply things like guns, ammo and clothes set "MultiplyOnlyComponents" to False.

I have added a list of all the items that i would like in barrels, as well as the amount that i want to be, i have barrels enabled but the items still do not drop in the amounts i want them too, and other items still drop, that aren't on the list

Hello all! I've been trying to configure the BetterLoot plugin to do one thing for my server. All I want to do is double the amount of loot in all barrels and crates, components and scrap. From what I can see, the crates have extra slots where components should be, but are empty. So the crates have 1 component + scrap. I don't know what I should do, but it should be easy.

Can I modify only the amount of loot on barrels ? For components for example.
If i install this plugin, BetterLoot doesn't change the default config of Rust's loot?

Question about rarity. So if i override the rarity of rifle.ak to 4. would it be the same chance to spawn in every crate? What about elite crates? (silver looking ones). Would that give a better chance of spawning the rifle.ak and so to speak somewhat lower the rarity to 3 in higher tier crates? Or would it all be the same.

 

Essentially, if we adjust the LootTable.json file and add/remove the entities they want, they should start appearing in barrels and crates, yes? Am I wrong?

Idk what im doing wrong I have added, all the item is I want to appear in the barrels, but still getting just minnows and candycanes even though i removed them.

 

See what i think is the most confusing part of this to me is that when i edit the LootTable.json so that barrels ONLY have rifles and crates only have ammo, i still only get a handful of minnows, candycans, hemp clones, stuff that isnt even on the list anymore, someone please explain?
