Can we not use old config?

 

As shown in the update blog, its recommended to delete all files. You could put over the old data by hand but not simply copy-paste it as a lot changed.

 

which was the command of the old version to add someone to any group?

 

I recommend updating as old versions will not be updated or fixed anymore.

Console Command:
usergroup add <player|steamid> <group>

 

If I can see what one new group looks like then I can edit my config

Changed a lot rather have the old one it worked without problems

I get the error only when you update the plugin betterchat

 

There is no reason for that being caused by BetterChat.

a question in the config of the new version the group system is the same as the old version?

 

I swear I to god the ranks were different

 

add local chat at diffrent distances from 50 100 300 and i would love to use this plugin again

 

im using better chat and i get doubble chat when i type?
as far as i know i have no other chatt plugin.

Did this have an admin group default before the 4.0? I was admin all correct and proper on my server then all of a sudden I delete/update.. no bueno. Can you give an example to throw in the config that gives me proper rank, etc?

 

4.0 only has the player group as default.

Create a group called admin:

• /chat group add admin

Set the title:

• /chat group set admin Title [Admin]
• /chat group set admin TitleColor red

Add yourself to the group:

• /chat user add Atreuce admin
