It is not registering permissions

 

i keep getting this can add myself as mod or vip and the config is on default ?

plz help

oxide.usergroup add silenthunter303 moderator
The group is called moderator - not mod

 

ive deleted the config and the server now gives this

You should remove old permissions first from your oxide.groups.data then delete config for this mod and script then upload new one

Why are they group permissions now instead of individually assignable permissions?

Now I can only add them to the group because a group is created for the permission?

I believe this is the new way to use/add permissions moving forward.

 

All the plugin does it automaticly assign it to those groups to make life easier. The permissions can still be assigned manually (eventhough I do not see a reason in doing that as you can just add them to the group). example: betterchat.player - They just have the betterchat. prefix now.

 

i have a problem thats bothering me is this when i reload or load plugin any idea why ?

you are using an outdated version.

 

Please add console commands for mute and unmute and time for mute.

 

i dont think im using a outdated one i added it less than a week ago but il re add it just to make sure

 

You are not using the updated version
Loaded plugin Better Chat v3.4.1 There has been 4 newer version that have been out after the version you have been using
If you check the post you done above it even tells you this

Permissions have changed you need to delete the config reload plugin so it makes a new one, then add any custom settings to your config, then reload it again it will auto add the permissions to your groups

 

i tried this =( but it didnt work delete both better chat and rankings config reloaded them added the stuf to both configs again and stil nothing
