BetterChat

The BetterChat Group Manager was updated.
I fixed the bug which caused the installer to not download any files and crash.
Also the group manager window is now no longer resizeable, for structural purposes.

The download link is on the frontpage, just where it was all the time.

i've set my grou's username and message to the the same color as text which is #90EE90. but only the text would work. Any answers?

Hi,

every time i rejoin my server it puts me in all the groups

i have the groups default admin and owner and i set myself as owner and removed all other groups on me
but when i rejoin and i type in chat it says "[admin] [default] [owner] driekant : message" so it sets me in all groups
i used "/chat user add Driekant owner" in-game as command to put me in owner group is that the correct command and how can i fix this
it's annoying becuase people that bought VIP on my server everytime they rejoin it does the same to them it say "[VIP] [default] (name): message"

Oxide puts you in your associated groups automatically, that is not done by BetterChat. Though BetterChat provides you with the HideIfNotPrimary option for titles, which hides the title of a specific group, if you are in another group with a higher priority.

 

How do i do this? and what should be the higher priority

The command is listed on the overview:

• chat group set <group> <setting> <value> change a group setting

 

betterchat.json in data folder

 

Or that. You can also use the BetterChat Group Manager, the download it on the overview.

 

i used the groupmanager but after saving the file all my groups we're gone D:

and could you add a moderator and VIP rank? the moderator rank should be lower than admin owner higher than admin and vip speaks for itself thanks

 

Here you go you have a few things wrong and the owner group twice. Upload this and would be best if you restart the server
