  1. If thats your groups file then its missing some things as its the old groups file

    Code:
    "GroupName": "moderator",
        "Priority": 2,
        "Title": {
          "Hidden": false,
          "HideIfNotHighestPriority": true,
          "Size": 15,
          "Color": "#269ec3",
          "Text": "[Moderator]",
          "InheritSize": false,
          "InheritColor": false
        },
        "PlayerName": {
          "Size": 15,
          "Color": "green",
          "ClanTagFormat": "[{Clan}] {Name}"
        },
        "Message": {
          "Size": 15,
          "Color": "white"
        },
        "Formatting": {
          "Console": "{Title} {Name}: {Message}",
          "Chat": "{Title} {Name}: {Message}"
        }
      },
      {

  2. i'm running the latest version from the overview, 1st install 1/11 and installed latest version on 4/11
    what am i missing as it seems to work ok

  3. Was not talking about the plugin was saying your groups file is not the latest

  4. but surely i'd get the latest version when i installed it on the 1st of November?

  5. The groups file you posted above is that from your groups file if yes then its not right

  6. Love the plugin but there's one feature I cant find a loop hole for and that is adding multiple colors for a rank/clan, let me show you what I mean:

    <color=#696969>[</color><color=#0099cc>{Clan}</color><color=#696969>]</color> <color=#00bfff>{name}</color> The rest of this works though: <color=#696969>|</color> <color=#b3b3b3>{Message}</color>

    Config:
    },
    "PlayerName": {
    "Size": 15,
    "Color": "#9EC326",
    "ClanTagFormat": ""
    },
    "Message": {
    "Size": 15,
    "Color": "#b3b3b3"
    },
    "Formatting": {
    "Console": "{Title} {Name}: {Message}",
    "Chat": "{Title} <color=#696969>[</color><color=#0099cc> {Clan} </color><color=#696969>]</color> <color=#00bfff> {Name} </color> <color=#696969>|</color> <color=#b3b3b3>{Message}</color>"
    }

    Clan doesnt work on Chat: line, but the name does only with the "Color": "#9EC326"?

    Theres more to be said but for the sake of my time and yours, just look at this image: Gyazo - 4cf2ece9f4ad5af8fd9a5595f9f4f9a7.png The top picture is the result, the bottom picture was the initial idea of the formatting of the rank (Rank: Default, gotten upon join by any player).

    If anyone has a loophole please let me know. If you are/know the dev please contact him about this or add on this feature.
    Thanks for reading guys, Ryan

  7. You can't use {Clan} in Formatting. Use {ClanTag} in ClanTagFormatting instead of emptying it...
    [DOUBLEPOST=1479278841][/DOUBLEPOST]
    That is propably because the Group Manager is not updated for the latest BetterChat version, I am sorry for that.

  8. LaserHydra, thats not my point, my point is, whenever I do use it in ClanTagFormat, it only supports 1 color of choice, not multiple colors.
    [DOUBLEPOST=1479279254][/DOUBLEPOST]^ I want to be able to use different color brackets for the clan, and be able to change the colors of the name and clan to give it a nice pattern.

  9. That is propably because the Group Manager is not updated for the latest BetterChat version
    You can do the exact same you did in formatting.

  10. I did but I guess it might be user error, I will try again later I guess. Thanks for the help, ill let you know if it still isnt working :D

  11. You need to delete the groups file to get the updated one only way

  12. Once the plugin loads a group file it will be saved as the latest one automatically.

  13. Well I found and this was months ago when it added these new lines
    "InheritSize": false,
    "InheritColor": false
    It also changed the groups file in many other ways it did not update the old one to the correct way as you would had say with a new install of the plugin so I removed the groups file seen what needed changed in the old groups file and edited it by hand. I know some would find this task hard to do but not a problem for me and I do enjoy checking coding keeps me busy on my off days :)

  14. I'd more likely add that to BetterChat itself as the author doesn't seem to be that active either.

  15. Why I can't remove "default" group from admins permanently? It comes back when I restart server/reconnect to server.

  16. Everybody always is in the group default. Oxide handles it that way.

  17. Thanks for the quick reply. :)

  18. 184 pages???
    Someone get an alternative for this plugin since it is just no working for Hurtworld.
    First the chat works good but after some time the lag starts in the chat.

    Tried on Windows and Linux server. Both with same issues
