Seems like you have a corrupt config or datafile.

 

upload the BetterChat.json from config folder and Groups.json file from your data/BetterChat folder for this plugin so they can be checked to see where the mistake you done in the file

 

speaking of permissions... can each group be given oxide permissions or assigned oxide groups??
For example. a VIP tagged player would have access to VIP kit??

If a player is in the BetterChat group 'vip' he is also in the oxide group 'vip'. BetterChat uses oxides groups.

 

I fixed my problem btw i messed something up but its all working fine now thanks for the fast response

 

how do i grant myself? when i type /chat group Owner it stands "MIssing Permission 'betterchat.admin' to run command 'chat'!
and when i typt in console grant user Marcuss it stands Usage: grant <group / user> <name /id <permission>

Could the message for both GlobalMute and /Ignore syntax be added to the language file?

 

i've done everything right multiple times but it still tells me unknown command chat

 

Have you watched The FAQ? Other wise try to type grant user (name) betterchat.admin in console and tryck If that works.

This is confusing me a lot so I need your help. How do you set prefixes for people because I was on a server and I saw people had vip tags so I wanted to add it to my server so how do i give people prefixes?
What command is it?
