Thank you for pointing that out. Went back to D9 white for the moment, as multiple plugins are posting in chat - resulting in more than four colors on screen at the same time. Turns out, finding settings that produce a calm, coherent but contrast rich chat is no easy task...

Are you sure that you saved it?

 

Yes, I'm 100% sure that i saved it, I been trying over and over for the past hour. Like i even tested changing Owner's Name color to yellow from lime and then saving it deleting the old one that has it saved as lime, i downloaded the file right after it still said yellow then after about 1-2 minutes it reverts itself back to the default.

 

everyone I know using it, told me its working fine though you are the first one having that problem.... Could you show me how you have set it up?

I had this problem too, what i did was
1. Go to plugins, remove the plugin
2. Remove the config file
3. Clean download folder on your browser and windows
4. download the plugin
5. If you're using filezilla or another program then restart the ftp program, if computer, restart it.
6. Now install the plugin and go to the config and it should be the new one not the old one!
I did this like 5 times when i was trying the new one and the old one

 

He had another problem. He used strange quotes... He used “ but he needed to use "

Are you authlevel 2?
If you are and it still does not work, do following command in your console.
Oxide.usergroup remove YourSteamId player

Player not your playername but just the word player

 

I love this plugin , what about get a chat cmd to reload the colors? or does is already perfom at player join? something like /reloadchatcolors

 

what do you mean? When you add a color to a player by adding the permission, the player should instantly have it

i mean for example, if i edit the config file for example add a new group to the json config file, does this file get updated (in the way for example csgo plugins have cfg files, but if you edit them you have to change the map or reload them) then i mean have i to reload the plugin tru rcon or restart the map every time i change the cfg?

you just need to reload the plugin using oxide.reload and I dont think its really needed to add that. I'll see

 

Thanks n.n also another useful think would be give chat cmds to change the colors and tag for usergroups with the groups needed for example for a onwer something like /settag and but this wont overwrite the another owner's group tags, also the same for example /settagcolor or /setnamecolor, its just a suggestion nice work with all that, also i didnt see a donation button at your thread
