Admin <-> Player (God Mode) [Unmaintained]

can you make it so when you enable admin it auto hides your name aswell that would be good

When I do /admin name "name" it still shows my regular player name in chat.

 

you need to activate the hidden name by doing /admin hide

 

Couple questions.. How do i use name tag hide? /admin hide doesnt seem to work to hide the ingame Name Tag?
Also, i want to add more items to the backpack, but Im not sure how to format the text. Any assistance would be appreciated.

 

the name tag subject has been aborded like 10 times already in this post, so please look around first ...
as for the format, just look how i did it in the configs. use this: http://jsonlint.com

Hey Reneb! Would it be kind of you to create this plugin without all the extra features like godmode, inventory save and invisibility? I am trying to reframe from giving those things to my mods. So what's left is the name change. I've browsed around and couldn't find any plugins that had this feature except yours. If it's not doable, I'll understand.

 

well i made this plugin exactly for my mods, so they wouldn't be treated as abusers or what ever.
When they are in admin mod, they are invis and can teleport to players
when they are NOT in admin mod, they NEVER are in god mode, don't teleport, etc
So they can really separate admin from player mods, and not get called abusers (because they teleport with full gear and stuff)

 

Oh I see. Well I still would prefer that feature as a stand alone plugin. For me it's still too much power. I have ranks for my staff and some only have enough power to chat moderate. So that's why I don't want all these extra features. If I wanted everything else, I could give them rcon and allow them to spawn whatever they need or give them plugins like vanish and godmode/heal. I can only guess that deleting half the code would fix this issue. Though I've tried and couldn't get the plugin working correctly. Worst thing that will happen is I just request it as a stand alone plugin in the Request Legacy forums but I was really hoping you could help out since one of my friends Mack on Steam referred me to you for this type of request. I am also noticing experimental has a plugin like this. Just wish we had it too Sometimes plugins are best at their simplistic forms. But thank you for all your hard work. My server uses like half your plugins.

 

i think there is a chat moderation plugin out there that allows that. don't know which one.

I found a little Problem with the Plugin. when you do /admin hide and type something in the Chat, it types SERVER: CONSOLE instead of SERVER CONSOLE: Message.
So no matter what i type, it isnt showed in chat. The Rest works fine so far

Edit: Solved it my own, by changing SERVER CONSOLE to Admin. Now it shows the Message correctly.

When I switch back to player... I don't get my gear back.
