the invisible name is for your STEAM NAME (so you edit your steam name before joining the server)

 

I do not understand whether this invisible-name function can hide the name of the head or the character,or just change game name[DOUBLEPOST=1406970803][/DOUBLEPOST]

If you can not hide the name of the head, this plug-in will lose its watchdog role, because they can see the names of my head,i hope can have hide the name tag function

 

Steam name = head name
So change your steam name and you no longer have à head name

just change your steam name to the invisible thing i gave you, and then reconnect on your server.
you should not have a tag name on your head, so when you do /admin, no one will see u

1) the invisible name is in the description on the plugin
you have to place it as your steam name (in your steam profile)
2) so that ingame people see you talk ask John, you have to do:/admin name John, then /admin hide
this will hide your invisible steamname in the chat and you will talk as John
but in reality when people see you they will see no head tag name

I know there's really nothing that can be done, but they can still view your aliases through the steam overlay. I like to stay anonymous as an admin, so players aren't bugging me for trivial shit while I actually play the game. The only work around I've found is to change your name 10 times so the old aliases disappear. This also means I can't keep people on my friend's list.

Right...but when someone sees the invisible steam name on the overlay, all they have to do is view their alias and see your last 10 names.

 

then just change your fake name to a random one that you never used ...
any way there is no way to hide the name tag on a player nor change it so what i gave you is the way i do it, no players add me on steam thiking i'm an admin so i have a player name and an admin name (fake ones).
so my way works, it's not perfect, but atm there is no other way.
