Scorpyon updated War Tracker with a new update entry:
Feature - Commandlist
[DOUBLEPOST=1434028424][/DOUBLEPOST]"I know, but it'd be nice if they showed up publicly as part of the war, and for their stuff to become vulnerable during the war."
I'd like to find a nice and seemless way of integrating the War, Alliance and Bounty Trackers (depending on what is installed) - I'm just working on a way of getting them to work off each other in a seamless way.
What I am looking into just now is a way of posting a notification to Allied Guilds when a war is declared, with the option of joining in the war as well.
Will let you know when I have something more concrete.

War Tracker
Make wars official! Get regular updates for all players in warring guilds on the server.

Would it be possible to add a war approval system for Admins?
Example: Player 1 wants to declare war against player 2, but has a poorly constructed RP justification.
Admin denies declaration of war
Example 2: Player 1 wants to declare war against player 2, and has an excellent RP justification.
Admin approves declaration of war.
Of course we'd need a command to list declarations that have yet to be adjudicated. -
It's certainly possible, yes. ^_^

Agreed with the above - it would certainly be a toggleable function, so if admins are not likely to be around, they can turn the check off. -
Scorpyon updated War Tracker with a new update entry:
Feature - Base Protection

You are the man. You've pumped these updates out like crazy!
One more request: Incorporate the piece of your guild tracker plugin that tells you how many players are in a guild. By this I mean: The plugin checks the warring guilds to see how many total players/online players are in each guild. If it finds a discrepancy of 2 or more between the numbers in each guild, it won't allow war.
I'm sure it's WAY more complicated than it is realistic. I don't expect it to happen, but it'd be pretty slick to have. -

Very nice update!
Now we only need a RSS link feed or so to announce wars on websites etc. -
Regarding the commandlist, you could implement the SendHelpText 'hook' used by the helptext plugin that allows you to inject your custom commands in the list returned with the command /help.

Good point, Mughisi.
I'll look into that -
Once again man great job! Players on my server have breathed a sigh of relief when i told them you released an update for base protection unless at war etc. They now can sleep soundly at night knowing offline raiding ain't a issue. I tried manually attacking a base with of a weak tier material with my great sword but it says it is taking damage. Guess i'll wait till restart and report back. But if it is meant to say that damage is being done but realistically it ain't then let me know
-
Cool man! A couple of things to check:
- I think you might indeed need to restart the server for this change to take effect
- Check the /nobasekilling toggle is on
- I think I made it so you can still destroy your own guild's base blocks (to prevent getting stuck and not being able to remove stubborn blocks in your base) -
I was just showing the WarTracker code to a non-gamer.
I realized as I looked at it that your code is SO CLEAN. I mean, it looks CRISP.
If nothing else I'm glad you take such pride in your work.
It also helps that your work is excellent! -
Thank you! Very kind of you to say so!
Probably helps that I've been a games / web coder for 10 years or so.
You really need clean code. In fact there's a great book called just that which I recommend reading. (Clean Code) -
ok so server restarted twice but I cna still damage peoples buildings. Also I noticed the description in the /warcommands are the same for /warnobase and /warnocrest both descriptions say "Toggle crest protection for when not in war"
-
Hmm. Ok, thanks!
I'll look into both these errors now... -
I just tested the new version as well. The blocks still take damage outside of war.
-
I'm not sure if you are going to be able to stop the blocks from being damaged unless you use the coordinates for each block.
