This is what i need! Is there a way it can be done so they cant declare war on a guild that are not online? And so if no war is declared blocks take no dmg?
-
I agree with Hyldeblomsten, it'd be nice if it took a declaration of war to damage blocks.
Side note, I can't seem to individually end wars. I have to end all wars, or none at all. I've tried putting in the guild names partially, fully, fully with caps sensitive. Nada.
Also, could you add a command to view current wars/status? I like the periodic reminder, but it'd be nice to call up the info as well.
Overall, great idea! -

Thanks for your plagin, it's awersome!
Please, answer this questions:
1. Is there any log file with time? Admins need to check it.
2. Also we need cooldown between wars, how can i realize it?
I localizated it to russian, it's very fun and useful!

Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you I been using a war declaration rule and this is perfect for me!
Also as suggestions what some people may already have said, Ability to only declare wa ron online players and something like the wartime plugin that disables siege weapons from being used unless war is declared.Last edited by a moderator: Jun 7, 2015 -
I have a suggestion, my server has a 10min prep period before you can attack after a war is announced, can you add a time delay from the command being used and the war starting?
Also i cannot find the wartracker.cfgLast edited by a moderator: Jun 7, 2015 -
Hi all, Apologies for not replying sooner!
I'll look through the above and answer what I can.
[DOUBLEPOST=1433691654][/DOUBLEPOST]"Is there a way it can be done so they cant declare war on a guild that are not online? "
- This should currently be the case. I believe the player needs to be online to declare war. If that's not working, let me know and I'll fix. As for the blocks thing, I'll look into it!
"1. Is there any log file with time? Admins need to check it.
2. Also we need cooldown between wars, how can i realize it?"
- Currently no log files. I can add some for the next update.
- By cooldown, do you mean a prevention that stops guilds from declaring war again for a set amount of time? Or something different?
[DOUBLEPOST=1433691702][/DOUBLEPOST]" something like the wartime plugin that disables siege weapons from being used unless war is declared."
- Hmm. I like this. I'll grab the plugin and see how that's done for a future update.

- I think the .cfg file is generated automatically, but you don't need it - there's not configs that need to be changed (AFAIK).
- I can add a ten minute prep period, sure. The server I play on uses this as well, so it would be useful to have.

- This sounds like it could be a bug. I'll look into it. Can you give me any more info on the problem?

- This is implemented in 1.0.2 :-D

Nice work seems to be working great!
-
Good good!
The latest patch also includes a fairly important fix where there was a chance of spawning multiple timers. Caught it in the last update.
[DOUBLEPOST=1433704658][/DOUBLEPOST]"it'd be nice if it took a declaration of war to damage blocks."
- I'll be looking into this as well. I need to work out if there is a nicer way of dealing with it rather than "kicking from the server" because that seems heavy handed and slightly annoying. Will see... -
Maybe something similar to the error message people receive in other plugins like the KOS at Night plugin or the Sleepers plugin. Something like that would be good or a popup message.
-
Sounds good - I'll look into those.
Certainly a popup message might be a good way to go in the interim. -
Another quick question I know this ain't anything to do with this current plugin. but i use the kos at night plugin and ofcourse when people declare war they are unable to kos due to the plugin it'self I was wondering was there any possible way to switch on player damage for those involved in a current war? As of this moment they can only war at night XD
-
I was going to look into the KoS at night plugin to see how it works.
I have some ideas about this, but at the same time dont want to be "too" restrictive.
Otherwise KoS Servers may not want to use this plugin. -
Hi, me again, Love you <3 for the work put into this plugin, working like a charm. I have had to edit the numbers in the wartracker.cs because i cannot find the wartracker.config file.
As for another suggestion: Would it be possible to list how many players are in the war, for example a total of all online players in the guilds are at war. -
Yeah, don't worry about the config file for now. I think I removed it in an earlier version (for some reason or other).
I'll be putting it back at some point for adding persistence (when I can get that to work).
I will look into if I can list how many players are in the war - however, I don't want to flood the chat panel with text,so this might have to be a separate command that can be run that will query the guild at war and check those online.
That said, I have discovered a royal pain with the way the game stores DisplayName versus Name for Players and Guilds... Heh! -

Server Persistence Added!

You could just add a tiny thing for example Guild_Name(6) declares war on Guild_Name(3) havent got a clue if its possible but wouldnt clutter the screen much more than whats there already.
Fantastic work so far by the way.
