Yup, and as I said, that is copied from his command window. Windows adds spaces where it was wrapped. Look in the later screenshots, you'll see where the breaks were that are now spaces. ;)

The .bat isn't the issue, the server is starting and using the values correctly.

  3. After fiddling with my stuff I think I need to try the game now.

  4. He has a lot of screenshots what one you mean

  5. You are correct, I did copy it from the bat. So that is why the spaces are there.

  6. I made a bat file put the info from yours into it corrected the mistakes and posted it into the code tags and I did not have the mistakes you did so do check your bat file

  7. My bat file doesn't have mistakes, don't worry, apparently the problem is my port forwarding, which is giving me lots of headaches.

  8. Good to know hope you get it fixed

  9. When I search for servers, am I looking for "Local Network" or community? Cause it's still not showing up.

Community if you aren't using Oxide, or Modded if you are.

  11. I don't understand, for some reason everything in my port forwarding is good, everything in my bat is good, but I still cannot connect to my server...
[DOUBLEPOST=1477005253][/DOUBLEPOST]I stopped my firewall, I may have to give an exception to this game.

Did you forward 28015? 28015 is what's you had in your bar. Also make sure you are forwarding UDP for it.

  13. It's on 28015-28016 TCP/UDP
    [DOUBLEPOST=1477006227][/DOUBLEPOST]
So does it matter? Since I still have 280165? It's ranged between 28015~28016, or does it work like that? I'm still rather new to port forwarding. Also I switched it to UDP

I'd try just setting 28015. You don't need the other unless you want RCON.

  15. I'm at a loss, no matter what I do nothing works. Everything is port forwarded correctly, it's all working in the console, I even turned off my anti-virus' firewall. What else can I do? I don't know...

Okay, so I've been checking some things, when I start up my Rust, I go into the console and type in client.connect localhost:28015

After that it goes to this.

I'm unsure why it is going there, because of the fact that this is not the name of my server. It also has this weird error. Is there a problem?

  16. You need to update your server by the look of it I can give you a auto update script if you want it if you do pm me

  17. Server is updated, and I'm connecting, but why was the server name glitched? I'm unsure why.

That is the default fallback for direct connect, it isn't your server name. If you connect via the server list it will be correct.

  19. Alright, so my server isn't on the list because of some sort of port forwarding failure. I don't understand how it could be wrong. I did everything I'm suppose to do, correctly. I was on my server and understand how to get onto it. I'm also unsure how to use commands, some commands don't work for me.

If you connect to the server, it is reporting to Steam. Sometimes it takes a bit for Rust's client to see the update list though.
