Solved Steps to update Oxide? (download and overwrite)

    Hey Guys,

    Im Kind of new in the World of an own Server in Rust so ist the first time i want to Update the Oxide Version of my Server. In the Internet i could find some stuff about it, but nothing, what really helped me out. i downloaded the Oxide Verison which is probably the newest one. (Latest download button got used) :D Can someone try to explain me here which serverfiles i Need to replace, that oxide can get Updatet? I tryed it at my own and replaced my complete RustDedicated_Data with the newest from the Oxide Download in the Hope, that it would work ^^ But it havent worked. Would be Kind of Nice :) Thank you

    Download the .zip, extract it, copy to your server install location and overwrite. If your .bat or .sh you use to start the server has any SteamCMD steps in it, remove it else it will uninstall Oxide.

    i extracted it but i wont work. The only file that is getting extracted is the RustDedicated_data with some files in it. But if i extract them the Server is starting without Oxide and is showing up on "Community"

    Then it was not installed properly. Make sure you aren't moving files from that folder, just copy that entire folder to your server where RustDedicated_Data is.

    i download the Oxide Version here: Oxide for Rust | Oxide . I extract the Rustdedicated_data in my Serverfolder: Screenshot (when the Server is stopped). I start my Server up again and there is still no Oxide :D It allready was installed before and worked perfect. Thats the Problem which i dont understand ._.

    If you're using a paid host, you likely do not have permissions to upload all of the files. Most hosts have a control panel to install Oxide.
