Staffmode

I've had the same issue in the past but found a work around.

I apologize but something I forgot all about and to mention. Forget about the names with "admin" and "mod" in them. Only the "admin" group can run commands at the moment. All my players have the group "admin" inherited (which has no permissions) and my moderators have the normal toggle groups on top of that. You're going to need to add your staff members to the admin group and configure the plugin to not toggle them out of it.

 

right i have a problem, im wanting to make a group called Owner that will be the top rank so it has Authlevel 2 and an Admin rank which will be the rank under Owner and will have Authlevel 1. i want the offdutygroup for Owner to be a group called Elite and the offdutygroup for Admin to be a group called VIP+.
here is my problem, when i toggle staffmode from the Owner group instead of it putting me in the Elite group it puts me into the Admin group but with no Authlevel, so how do i fix this?

 

Has anyone reported getting banned from the server for switching to staffmode? I had a moderator that keeps getting banned for using it, all the ban file says is "cheat reported"

 

You might have some other plugin conflicting, but this one doesn't apply bans in any form.

 

He did report it happened when he got stuck on a rock then tried to jump...so he was stuck in the air and the game banned him...maybe it detected him flying?

 

Yeah, I'm sure he triggered antihack for being inside an object.

 

So... if I wanted to get myself auth 2 what would I have to do?

 

I've been looking for what seems like forever to try and find how to fix this error, "CS1002" im guessing its easy to do but i have no clue i need help. I copied the example and pasted where i think its suppose to go and it gives me that error if anyone can help, bless you.

 

Don't copy and paste the example in the plugin file itself, paste the example in the data file in "oxide/data"

 

So i put it in the group note under "oxide/data" and it dosnt do anything ?

 

Make sure you reload the plugin and adjust the sample to your server permission groups.

 

can this plugin be used to switch between an admin and a normal player with default permissions ??

 

Am I missing something? Every time I restart my server, I have to set up the staffmode again... Is there a way to save the settings before reboot?

and it says i don't have permission to use any commands

Im looking for some plugins so i can add a Staff team on my server and i want VIP kits if anyone have some ideas for me plz leave them down thx

 

You know. If you do some reading it clearly states how you get permission. Don't be lazy.

Let me make it simple for you. You go to the plugin page. You see all those words? They say how to get permission.

 

If you search in the staffmode conifg you will see this :
