By the way if your provider hasn't updated yet or your unsure they have or not and you have access to the server files via FTP then you can just copy over the oxide install files to the same path locations. I did this last night with Game Servers as they hadn't updated earlier and as they don't specify the oxide build number i still wasn't sure so i did it manually instead.
I took a backup of the files oxide would be replacing (only around 5 files) just in case.

The Rust server list only shows 200 servers, if you don't see your server, that is likely why.

  5. i mean the "serverlist" in game servers, in my case using oxide, "modded servers"

Yes, the answer is the same. ;)

  7. thanks for your answer, the first 200 servers on list, are the lowest ping servers right? so i dont understand why my server doesn't show up, i have 0 ping
or i just dont understand how this works :p

It's the first 200 of whatever you have it sorted by. Other reasons why it wouldn't show include: blacklisted, port not actually open, not connected to Steam, etc.

  9. ok.. thanks for your time ;)

  10. There seems to be another server update out, I had to use Oxide Patcher to get it working after updating my test server today.

I haven't heard of one, and not seeing anything for today. https://steamdb.info/depot/258551/history/

Likely you are on a different branch.

  12. [Oxide] 9:49 AM [Error] Failed to run a timer. (NullReferenceException: )

I've been getting this in the console all week quite often

That's from a plugin. You'll need to figure out which one it is coming from, and report it to the author of the plugin.

  14. Is it possible Oxide to have some kind of protection against stressing the Rust UI text when many plugins start sending messages with <color=#></color> ? Because chat is going blank and console start to spam Canvas element contains more than 65535 vertices. This is not supported. when the colors are too much and happen to all players. I was just wondering is it possible to be done or just some method to auto-clear the chat?

  15. I'd say Post this in the bug report section

It's a Rust bug, not an Oxide bug. We could implement a buffer, but ideally it's something Rust should fix. I haven't been able to reproduce that since the latest Rust update though. It was easily reproduced before when sending a pile of messages which overflowed the screen, causing the messages to disappear and only the avatars showing.

  17. Which is best for rust:

Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard or Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard?

I'd go with newer. I don't think either would make a difference though.

  19. looks like rust just updated. Doesnt look like latest oxide is compatible.

  20. They are not Superman, it takes a while until they have a good working build, give them some hours :)
