Setting up a Rust server with Windows

    The only way you can get that is if your server is not updated, and you're trying to use a newer Oxide build which includes a later Rust DLL.

    Newest patch is still protocol 1310. Newest Oxide patch.

    Yup, uploading the correct build shortly. Somehow missed the patched DLL. Bit of a Rusted update, I was ready to head out the door. :/

    Ok i did everything ok but how i can change the description that is shown in 'modded' server list of my server?Or to add an immage or text to that popup that cames out when u click on a server?

    No it's not solved if you pay attention to that guy he said doesnt update just like mine and i did everything that's said there and still same problem as him doesn't update.

    I have a new problem. When going to start my local test server, like I have done dozens and dozens of times in the past, I get a command prompt with my bat startup line shown but the server does not start. It just sits there. I can close the command prompt but I need to use task manger to close rustdedicated.exe. Even though that process is running, no window is shown for it. Any ideas?

    Check your Rust logs or RustDedicated_Data/output_log.txt or the location of -logFile.

    The only log generated is output_log.txt. Aside from several "this message is harmless" messages, no errors are shown.

    Are you hosting on Windows or Wine for Linux? Unload the logs here too please.

    According to that, your server halted on generating the map, so there may be something wrong with it. You could try a new map and see if that works.
