The don't turn the server back on until everything is done like I do
-
Dude, you're sort of acting entitled, chill out it just released. This is how EVERY THURSDAY goes, I hate seeing how ungrateful people act when these devs are doing their best to release these builds when they can.
-
Plus, wrong protocol has nothing to do with OXIDE, at all!
-
Thanks. I do currently have 50 players on my server and about 40 player are trying to join but they get kicked cuz of wrong protocol message. They just spam me like people spam you here for the update :s
-
1 server shut down for inspection and regretted
-
if it's a good server they WILL wait, my server always fills back up

That's not from Oxide. -
For some reason, after installing the new Oxide mod onto my server, it just ignores my whole commandline and proceeds to create a new server "Untitled Rust Server"
-
Wulf Community Admin
Oxide doesn't change your hostname, that's all you and your host. -
Well, we haven't changed anything on our end whatsoever, just replaced old Oxide files with new files. And eh, I am the host.
Does this say anything by any chance? http://i.gyazo.com/63970574994667c2fe0630301d6b341d.png -

It sounds like you're using an old build still. -
Stupid question, but, Old build of Rust Server or Oxide?
Because the Oxide build I took directly from the downloads section. -
Wulf Community Admin
Either. Make sure your server is fully updated first, then add the very latest Oxide build. -
Seems like it's not a problem with the Oxide build, more like a problem with the new Rust Server build... Almost nothing shows in the console.
Also, I have no clue, what is actually going on as host-wise, not a single thing has changed.

Looks fine to me, just no Oxide installed. You also seem to be setting your +rcon.ip to something invalid. -
Alright, good.
But now when I try to load my previous saves, I get this in the console: http://i.gyazo.com/e1d10b1659f82c3dd79e1dcb28166138.png
Ps. Sorry for being an absolute pain.
