If i upload my old players serverrewards_players.json file it don't save, even if i edit the file with old player details it still will not save when uploaded? -
You need to unload the plugin before making changes to datafiles

Never had server rewards on this server before, first time installing it, after I installed it I created an npc and did /srnpc add. And now I get this error every time I try to interact with the npc. I've tried uninstalling and deleting all config and data files, I reinstall and then connect again but I still get the same error. Same goes for using /s.

I got the same, unload , reload plugin dont help.
When i put my old file players serverrewards_players.json (36KB data) to the data directory, i reload plugin then i got players serverrewards_players.json with only 2KB data. -
Unload before copying the file across to the new folder, then load the plugin. The plugin has a auto save feature when it is unloaded, so if you copy the file without unloading it will override the file with what ever data is loaded in the memory
