1. @Wulf i think i might have some files from an old build mixed in, is there a screenshot posted somewhere of what the folder structure/files should look like (or can someone be so kind as to share theirs from current working oxide server)? as i mentioned my servers are running but no Oxide.

thank you for everything you do for the community.

That link is fine, but that's a version-specific URL that can only be used for this specific version of Rust.

That error would be from a 4+ month old version of an extension, like Lua or Javascript, but you would have had the issue for the past 4+ months if that was truly causing startup issues, so 99.999% not likely to be your cause. Oxide.Core.JavaScript, Oxide.Core.Lua, and Oxide.Core.Python files would be examples of old extensions. You can try removing them to test if you'd like to rule that out for sure. These extensions are only used for .js, .lua, and .py plugins and haven't been bundled in Oxide for the past half year or so.

The file structure has not changed, you can compare the past 1000+ builds and see.

  3. I got it to work guys. I basically nuked the RustDedicated_Data folder, then verified the steam update, then reinstalled oxide. Works. Now I'm piecing together the missing files as I saved that folder locally i.e. RustIO, etc. At least its loading! Good Luck!

  4. Hey,

Personally i still got the error,
Failed to preload plugin : libRenderer.so

I checked server files, updated oxide, nothing helps...
Please help me, tell me what to do :d

  5. i just did the exact same thing i did the first time, but.. AGAIN! and it worked idk gl everyone lol

  6. Good job folks :).

I just wiped the RustDedicated_Data/Managed directory, revalidated, re-zip-patched, added back in Rust:io, and it works.

Here's my before/after Managed directories if it's of any help.
In the "fail" pastebin below, this is after updating rust and zip-patching (as I would ordinarily do).
In the "works" pastebin below, this is after wiping Managed, re-validating rust, zip-patching, and installing rust:io.
As you can see, I guess there was a bit of unused crustiness laying around in the "fail" case.

    Fail: Managed Folder - fail - Pastebin.com

    Works: Managed folder - works - Pastebin.com
