If you see on the same network as the server behind a router, you won’t see the server in the list yourself.

That is your internal network IP, not the external IP player so would use.

    It depends on the router.

  5. 76.118.172.98:28015 but if i use that ip i get nothing if i use the 10.0.0.127 i get connection attempt failed

If you can connect with your LAN IP, then it isn’t a setup issue on the machine. If you had an invalid IP or an IP not assigned to that machine, then you wouldn’t be able to connect at all as it would fail to bind the port. The issue would lie with the router most likely. You most likely won’t be able to use your own external IP, this is because of the router. Use a local IP for yourself, other players outside your network would use the external IP.

  12. well still no fix for this at all its quite discouraging. never had this issue before when i had my server up for months. and facepunch are a bunch of asswipes open a ticket n no response in days.... called cable company and they confirm the ports are open and trafiic in and out is set properly thru firewall u guys sent me a new bat file so i know the bat is fine... even tried opening a server using server manager same exact outcome. rust io shows my server up in it and rcon works so im stumped completely

Are you trying to find the server when on the same network? You won't see it generally if behind a router, router's tend to have functionality that causes you not to be able to ping your own IP from inside the network. If Rust:IO sees it, that means Steam sees it as it queries Steam.
