RustDB [Unmaintained]

Well Basically you need to enter the ip and port that external players use to connect on your server.

 

hey man, ive just noticed that when I restart my server it adds the players that are in the ban.cfg file. If the server is restarted again it adds them again. I've got the same players banned for the same thing about 5 times lol

 

This plugin doesnt modify at all the banlist

 

Hmm wonder what is adding it to the list. Only things I have is anticheat enhanced ban and rustdb.
Will remove each one and see what is doing it.

 

I tried that and said I didn't enter the IP or port right. Since its on the localhost server it has to be a LAN IP. That's how it's setup/ Not that I am saying

Well this is a Home Network so entering a WAN IP is not going to work. The server itself uses my LAN IP, even your livemap is using my LAN IP my DNS does the translation. Oh well, maybe i'll figure it out.

 

Then you dont need rustdb if no one can access your server ...

 

Oh my server is very used by public, live map, rust map work well cause they accept the LAN IP. Which translates to my WAN IP on the outside world. It's no biggie, just wanted another screen for Bans worldwide.

 

People can't connect directly to your Lan IP ... I think we have à big misunderstanding hère, give me your ip that to would use to connect to your server from my game please

 

+1, you can't connect to a Lan IP. Multiple routers/hubs would have the same ip address so how would it know to go to yours?

 

hmm ... the plugin starts to work before the end of the launch. It's OK?

 

no it's not, thanks for noticing. i'll fix that when i have time. Fixed most of my plugins already, going to fix this tonight as now i don't have time anymore

 

how to remove a ban from the rustdb if i write unban steamid it unban from my server but not from the rustdb.

 

you need EBS.
as when i last updated this player, unbanning a player was not possible from ingame.

 

i have ban them from the serverconsole rusty
but if i unban him on rusty buy he is unban on the ban.cfg list but not on rustdb

 

I know i didnt make the unban feature for this part

Reasons might be:
- You did not set the correct serverIP in your config file
- You did not set the correct serverPort in your config file
- Your server doesn't exist
- You are trying to use RustDB with a cracked server I added my server IP and PORT

 

Make sûre you have the correct ip and port , used to connect to your server
