I'm not sure what you mean.
When I add the plugin through ClanForge, I don't have to do anything beyond clicking an "Add" button and it then applies the plugin to my server. This has worked for everything I've added so far, and all I have had to do is set permissions and then the mod functions normally.
I suppose I hadn't tried downloading the plugin from the OP and then uploading directly to the server, so let me see if that helps at all.
I will report back, but it may be some time until I can test it as, sadly, the Unity engine does not work well through RDC.

Well, ClanForge didn't let me upload the plugin directly, saying that the current Kits plugin is up-to-date with the latest version.
They asked if my admin rights/permissions are set accordingly, which they are.
So back to square 1 lol.
I'm going to ask a stupid question, is there an initial permission I need to create to use the /kits commands?
I imagine not, since it would then tell me I am not authorized to use /kits instead of unknown command, correct? -
all you need to make kits is auth level 2 (ownerid that is set in your users.cfg file) and its /kit in game chat not /kits and that can only be used if you have GUI set up if GUI is not set up then its a different command you use in game see overview for full list
-
Right, I run the server so naturally I have myself set as the server owner with the proper auth level.
/kit and all variations do not work, returning the unknown command message.
I try removing the plugin and adding it again but same problem.
Also try oxide.reload kits just to see, nothing. -
It looks like the plugin has not been loaded you need to check logs to see why
-
Well without being able to play, I'm going through the Rusty RCON logs and only issues right now are with the NightLanterns mod, I don't see anything related to kits in there. Is there a more reliable/preferable way to check? Probably in-game, right?
-
you need to go over server logs not rusty ones
-
Please help me, every time I create a kit players get all the items in the kit when they respaw!! i dont want this
I know how to set authlevel and max as described, any
help? -
After consulting the logs, it looks like we're getting this:
"Kits - Unexpected end when deserializing object. Path '['NPC - GUI Kits']', line 18, position 1." -
upload your config file please

Hi, I used the kits plugin on the server I hosted on my VPS but now that I got one from Multiplay, the kits plugin throws this error:
07 Kits - Unexpected end when deserializing object. Path '['NPC - GUI Kits']', line 19, position 1.
I installed it via the ClanForge interface. Any help would be appreciated. -
upload your config file and if you can use the one from the overview if your hosting is not using the same one
-
I wasn't sure if I can grab files from there, but apparently I can. Can you tell me what broke?
Edit: these are the files that i could get via clanforge
Can you tell me which config you need specifically? The error is on my Multiplay server.Attached Files:

That's it.
That's all that's in the file.
I've felt like this is incorrect so I'm guessing it should look more like Ironclad's file? -
look at the one I uploaded above thats the way it should look
