Raid protection for select players only?

I have a player in my server who builds my towns, Who isn't interested in raiding or being raided, Is there an Add-on out there that will allow me to give protection to just certain people? Game is Rust.

 

If you only want to protect his base you could use the ZoneManager and create a small area around his town(s) pve and set buildings to godmode.

 

Yep, best for this is ZoneManager, you can protect alot of wioth that just simple with fue args, it ios very strong and powerfull plugin on the otherhand, you could give your frined few permissions so he can work as a little admin, then he doesnt need to be scared of raids or to be protected - ex. god plugin, admin protection, vanish ect.... There is alot of touls that can help with that, its only about how much you trust him to give him such powers or protection - once I had on one of my servers also a guy that was building for me arenas, villages, towns ect... he was not raiding or fighting, later I was kinda not happy taht I need to invest my time to help him, so i gaved him few permissions to have some cool things, my god I am glad that I had logs for certain actions, cause the guy obviously got borred and wanted to have fun like an admin so he started to give, reset ect... Just my 2 cents to the debate

 

Like the others suggested consider either building your town in the water, using Build for Rust | Oxide to spawn the foundations safely, or probably the best option - using Zones Manager for Rust | Oxide and using the following values to protect him until he's finished building.

/zone_edit (Number)
/zone enter_message "Town currently under construction" (Example)
/zone pvpgod true
/zone pvegod true
/zone eject true - This will stop players entering the zone while it's under construction.
