Polls [Unmaintained]

like doing a poll and if enough select it will run the event game, kit, spawnfile, launch and so forth.

 

If you have a plugin starting game event and that plugin has a console command you can create custom polls using config file.If you have a plugin to give items to players and has a console command you can add custom polls using config file.

 

@Feramor: I added a custom poll to the config-file, but i cant get it working :-( I added a screenshot, would you mind checking it out and tell me when you find any mistakes i made?
What do i have to type in the server console to bring that custom poll up?

 

After you change json file you need to reload plugin by oxide.reload Polling after that you need to give yourself Polling.Create.GatherRate after that you can create poll by /poll GatherRate 30

The only mistake is "Thanks for your vote " is not a console command.If you don't want to run console commands just leave them empty

 

Love the plugin, just setup a poll for new gather rates for server and it works perfectly.
Can you add the ability to run polls from command line.
Eg. now I run it from chat with /poll Gather 3600
Can there be a way to run it from RCON with poll.Gather 3600 or something like that so I could run it when I am not in game?

Thanks for your reply. I finally managed to create a valid json-file...hallelujah! I checked it with several Json-Validators, saved it and reloaded it via the oxide-reload-polling command. Up to here, everything seems fine. But i cant fix the problem, that i cant get permission for my custom poll. Here is what i was trying to do:
When i type into the console the following, i GET permission for the aidrop-poll: grant user 76561197971567109 Polling.Create.Airdrop
But when i type in: grant user 76561197971567109 Polling.Create.Gathering i DONT GET permission. There is always the message saying "Permission 'Polling.Create.Gathering.' doesn't exist. What am i doing wrong?? I am desperate right now :-(

You need to add your custom poll inside Polls @ config file.Add your josn as text file and i will fix it

Here is mine I am using this week that runs for an hour and if you want to use an extra option with a nice big red answer at the end
I am running this every night before the wipe and will take the results average.
It is awesome, all players can look up the history of the polls.

Yes you need to reload plugin after you change language file too.And yes donates via button on plugin page goes directly to Plugin Developers ;-)

rly love it what you done out of it. before almost nobody understood it to 100% ~~ its very usefull now.

and i have kinda some suggestion ~ Maybe if you have just time to spare. you could some gui like THAT make for the Tickets Plugin from laser hyra `? yea i could ask him aswell but i thought. you just did that gui . and it should look this way and he has probably much todo :s

The reason I haven't implemented this is If they want to skip night they should do it first time.Asking again and again and again will cause only chat spam
