Am I doing wrong if I type /pr pvpkills
to try see the pvpkills?
Nothing gets displayed

 

Hi,
That should work as long as
A: The plugin is loaded
B : There is pvpkill data on record
C: The category is enabled.

 

A: Yes (MySQL. I have player information in there)
B: I have PVEKills which is enabled
C: /pr pvekills shows nada

 

Is this the first version you've used? Did any V work for you before?
Perhaps I made a mistake in the recent update.

 

I tried it long time ago but it broke all the time so I didn't bother using it. Testing out now again

No. I installed it, changed the mysql in config and run it.

You should delete that as your password is in it, but thanks for the detail.
Unload the plugin, delete the lang file, and delete the config file in that order.

There are presently no issues with SQL or category display.

No worries.
The yellow warning about closing an unclosed connection isn't out of the ordinary, but the rest shouldn't happen and doesn't happen for me on either of my servers.
The categories not showing is almost certainly an old lang file from when you used the plugin previously.
I think the formats have been changed since then.

As per instructions, in order? Unload first?

The plugin has a permission but it's only for 'admin' commands like wipe/del, IIRC.

Damn. I've no idea what the problem could be.
I don't remember the last time I had a problem with it.

Silly question - did you rack up some stats on this fresh install server?
Be sure to kill something and /pr save for good measure.

 

Tried killing an animal and /pr save and /pr pvekills but nothing =/

The PVP top list is quite important for us in a stats plugin in order to compare with others
I'll be on the lookout for updates on this one, I don't expect it to be near future

Honestly, I'm not sure what will be updated.
It's been flawless for months.
The only real issue we had was with the GUI sticking, although I think that's long solved.

Do you even get the confirmation that data was saved in console?
Do you see any console errors when you try /pr <category> ?

I have a local home server. I'll wipe all data/config/lang tomorrow and fresh install to be 100% certain of it.

Very strange.
Being along wont matter. I was.
The only other thing I can thing of would be due to strange characters in the name although, again, I think the plug should handle that,
and it should throw an error if that's the case.

They updated some json stuff not sure exactly what.

No, that's the version I'm on and I have no issue.
The issue which prompted a second oxide update did not affect PlayerRanks at all.
