Solved Making a pre-release server?

I have a server on the prerelease branch that I want to make modded. I know this is possible because there are 6 modded servers on prerelease but I have no idea how to get mine modded, as when I install oxide, it essentially destroys the server. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

 

Oxide does not support prelease. You'd have to patch Oxide yourself for prerelease.

 

What does this mean? Is there a tool for this?

 

Hello, It'd be great if you could compile the Oxide for Rust that is suitable for prerelease branch. There will be a huge update and I believe most of the server admins would like to adapt their specialized plugins. We should be ready for that update.

Keep in mind that this will not be done for every pre-release and please don't start creating threads with issues with the pre-release version as it is officially not supported.

 

Anyone knows whats recently changed on the GUI creation on PreRelease?
Any GUI based plugins are currrently out or order with no given Errors or NRE's...

Hi, i have read all of topic about that and i know oxyde doesn't support this version but if someone can help me i really need that thx you.

 

Wolf, let me ask you somehintg. After this new update, are we gonna need to update our plugins? Like GUI?

And are you planning to add new hooks about the XP System? Or that new hooks will come past 7/7?

 

I hope you keep in mind how many thousands of modded servers rely on oxide, and to be honest if I were you, i'd charge a fee to use it, but anyway, what i'm saying is lot are counting on you/your team to release an update quickly with access to the XP changes so we can utilize them in our servers. This release is a big one.

 

I wanna know the new hooks, I'm so excited!
