After Latest Update When you write char M in ingame chat map opens

 

All binds typing to chat. Very nice (

 

Does the map image have to be in .jpg or can the be in .png also

 

Happening to me also. Although it appears to be only happening for some people and not all people. Not sure what that's about lol.

 

Why is both my map and mini map black, icons and coordinates all work? Please help driving me crazy.

 

{Fixed the map not loading by removing completely and re-adding files then reloading a couple times.}

Hello. I update the map, and when I write in chat and press "M", the maps be open lol, before the update thats don't happend, someone have this problem too?

 

Yeah seems like a few of us are

 

follow the directions on the plugin page .. if you follow them like it is spelled out it works..

if you are seeing a black image try to enable the complex mode

I followed the directions, and everything was working fine until the recent Rust client-side update. Anyone who has installed it triggers the map with M while typing in chat. People still on the previous version don't have this issue. So I feel like it's probably something update related?

 

it is definitely update related to the client patch from today...

 

can we please get lustymap fixed to where if you are typing in chat and press M it won't bring the map up?... Kind of annoying when typing and the map keeps coming up :/ i don't believe it did this before the last update

 

Lusty isn't the prob..it hits ALL beybinds, even while in chat or in client console

 

ok, I'm glad it is not just me with the M key bug.

It is the latest client update from rust, today, no matter what version or keybind, they are all passing through chat

 

Tempfix for Map: Key bind to "F2":

 

F2 & M now open map

@Kayzor Any chance we could roll it back to /map function until we get rust update if keybind change will not wrok?

 

the "/map" features are already removed from the code, it seems...
did you restart your client between change of LustyMap? this would cause old and new keybind.
or do in client console
