I tested it with the simple version and it worked but with the issues posted above

The Icons folder was originally named wrong, its ways been icons in the code and i just corrected that.

I put the map in there so people would know where to place the image and have the right name, plus it gives them an example of the size as quite a few have just screenshot rustio in the past and complained about the map being off when it was there image...

I haven't been able to replicate the icon issue you mentioned, mine is working fine... i have reloaded the plugin several times and tested both modes.
can you please do /map debug true and look at your rcon console to see if there are any errors?

You should see a little + and - just to the side of it (press tab or t to free the mouse).

RustIO friends works great, but I think when no friends are on my minimap that it doesn't show my own arrow. When a friend is there it seems to work fine... or at least that what I think I have it narrowed down to...
