LustyMap

Hi i just tried to download and install LustyMap on my server but it is not possible to download the plugin attachment with icons folder. Could you please create a new link and update it on your tutorial?

How many time take Beancon to approve a server?

 

They are picky about how your entry is written.

I think they also require a banner.

Sadly they are not very responsive... it is probably because it is one or two people and they have lives like us all...

 

Yeah, like the image posted earlier in this thread, they usually ban servers that don't have a unique description... However, I think the API key should work even if the server isn't approved yet. So, like I said in the tutorial video, make your description UNIQUE. Don't just put spam or minimal in it, because they will assume that the server isn't really trying to have any level of professionalism and will decline it. The whole point of Beancan was to has only servers that are serious about being for the players, and isn't a test server for plugin owners.

 

My server is approved but I cant see the settings (API Key, etc) because when I look the screen shows black... see posts above...

 

Yes, I log in and under my name select Servers. It's never listed. I left the browser on that page and 15 minutes later, it still hasn't generated my server.

 

I think they should provide both methods for generating the minimap....

So, we put our server up on beancan.io and it was rejected...not sure why? There's no way to contact them for help either on the page. Any ideas?

 

Having a Server issue and need to have my server moved changing the ip and port.
Problem is Beancan.io has not approved my server post so i cannot update the info.
All i can edit is Title, Tags and Description.
My server is new and still getting it set up, the server hardware issue has slowed this down allot.
Is their any way around this or a solution i have not found ?

Did you make a UNIQUE description for your server? They weed out ones with spam descriptions because they want their list to be legit servers, not tests or spam lists of servers.

If you log in to beancan, click on your username in the upper right, go to servers, click on your server in the list and scroll down and click edit. If you scroll down on that page, you should see your API key. You just go into edit to see the API Key, nothing more. Copy and paste that into the config for LustyMap.

When i log into Beancan.io My server area is blank, in the My Posts area it shows up.
Problem is when i click edit all i can edit is Title, Tags and Description.
As i also stated My server has not been approved yet.

My only options are to delete the server and try again or to start a new account.
Thanks for trying to help but i do not have those options and their is no option to contact them that i have found.....

 

I did notice that the server list wasn't loading for me the other day as well. However, before then, I was able to hit "edit" and it showed the API key if scrolled down. I wonder if that has changed since I made the tutorial video. I was able to see the API key immediately after posting my server. It didn't need to be approved before the API key was shown, at least for me it was this way.

Probably a good idea. I am unaware as to why they would have rejected that server bio, honestly. Looks fair and unique to me.

 

does anybody know if this plugin works with clanforge as you dont get access to all files like the server etc thanks

 

This may have been answered in here but i cant find what im looking for .

I have the mini map showing on my server but it doesnt display the users location , like a dot on the map where they are at, also it doesn't show the rad towns, air drops or anything like that on the map. In the lusty cfg i have it all set to true. Is there something else im missing or doing wrong on why these options are not working ?

EDIT: I dont have it working yet , but i did watch video of how to install it and i missed a step . so i may have figured out my own problem . Ill let you know if it works in a few

I watched the video install here and my map still shows no icons, caves, or my location . when i type server.ip it just said 0.0.0.0 . I went to google and got my ip and registered server on beancan but it shows up offline . Im able to connect along with 10 of my other friends so i know its online . Is there anyone that can help me on this . Thanks

 

Are you using a host or running it off your computer? Anything involving Beancan might be the issue as it seems like no one is able to go and view the API Key or any information that they normally would be able to access on Beancan.io right now... Not sure what is going on with it. But the ip coming up as 0.0.0.0 makes me wonder if it isn't hosted by a professional hosting service... in that case, you might need to find your IP in another way. Sometimes, depending on who provides your internet service and what type of internet you are using (corded ethernet connection or wifi, for example) can make your IP that you use to connect different than what your server uses to link to Lustymap/Beancan.io....
