Well, it worked untill I rebooted the server.
Map black again and can't get it back to work.

Edit:

for some reason reload.LustyMap doesn't work but unload.LustyMap and then load.LustyMap seems to do the trick after every server reboot!

When yo do reload.LustyMap it'll start moaning about slow image processing.
Do unload and then load does generate the image and will activate both minimap and large map!

Try the command 'resetmap' in the server console.
Looks like there is still old data which the command above will clear and request again.

What I did notice is that the ImageData.json isn't getting filled with information.
When recreated it shows:

If you see this in your ImageData.json do oxide.unload LustyMap and after that oxide.load LustyMap.
You will then see the map being generated and map is getting activated ingame.

Is it just me or does beancan.io refuse to generate any new maps?
Someone could verify? Cuz that also won't help ..

how do i get Game Servers to do the "sudo apt install libgdiplus" or is it something i put into my command line?

 

You won't be able to do this from the Rust console.
Connect to your host via SSH if possible and type: sudo apt-get install libgdiplus

 

forgive my non-knowledge, but SSH?

 

With SSH you can reach your server console, just like you have with your Rust console.
Try looking in the FAQ of your server provider and look if they got details how to connect to your server via SSH. This method varies per provider so I cannot tell you how to do it exactly because I run my servers @ my own compay.

Yerah i left beancan.io up all night generating and it still hasnt generated, i used rustio and downloaded the image to my data/lustymap folder and its still blkack... what is going on.

 

Im not finding it for Game Severs, so i opened a ticket. I will have to wait on a response

I'm having the same problem. Everything works as far as seeing our marker on the map and the /map admin too....but, we get no caves or monument markers on the mini map and only the names of each monument on the big map. I've read the last few pages and I don't see a fix for this. Anyone have a solution? Thanks

 

At the moment it works. But sometimes i can't see heli, plane or airdrops though i have turned it on in the config. Someone with the same problem?
