1. Fresh wipe today map is only 3000 size under 30k ents 9 players online all plugins up to date and the server is lagging balls the servers FPS is going from max to 10-20 over and over.

  2. Yeah Im getting intermittent packet flooding kicks now. Been running this server for a couple months now and never had that issue. Immediately after today's update it's happening every few minutes or so. I've had up to 25 on with no issues before update and now its happening with even as little as 5 to 7 on. No error in logs beyond the darn packet kick.

  6. This is maddening! I've been running for 2 months, no packet flood issues through the entirety of all the updates until this one on the 25th. I've changed nothing in my hardware or network, I have upgraded any plugins that have updates, even removed some that aren't being used and yet at some random point it still kicks some or all of the players for Packet Flood.

    No errors in console, nothing in logs other than the message itself. Has anyone ever found a proper fix for this or know if it's being addressed somewhere?


    EDIT - This may be a clue? I've noticed since I have been on that it seems to happen when someone new logs in. Not necessarily new to the server, but new since the wipe.

    If they have logged in since wipe it doesn't seem to affect it.

  7. Found any fixes? It looks like you're right PunJedi, i'm also getting server freezes when someone "new" logging in it seems. Gonna try to verify that.

  11. Ok folks, I applied the NoWorkBench fix properly last night and although I hesitate to say its fixed. I haven't seen the problem show up since.

    Woke up this morning with 11 on server and no complaints of packet flooding. Still keeping my fingers crossed (I know, makes it tricky to type) but that may have been the trick, at least for my specific issue.

    For the NoWorkBench issue, head over to their plugin site and check the last couple pages of forums read. The dev gives a reformed version of the plugin.
     
  12. I don't even use that plugin, still getting few seconds server freeze when a "new" player joins the server... tried to unload all plugins that does something to new players connecting. hmm
     
  13. If it helps any, I have also updated ConnectMessages, removed RulesGUI, reinstalled my own client (yeah I know, why would that matter? :) I dunno) and have updated anything that can be updated. I honestly don't know what the fix actually was, or if it just somehow stopped but I can confirm I have had 17 ish on now, 3 brand new folks join and no packet flooding.

    If I can isolate what the true fix was, I will absolutely post it here.
     
  14. I removed BlueprintManager for now Blueprint Manager - haven't experienced any issues so far, fingers crossed. Haven't seen any connections i can confirm is new either tho since last bp wipe, but it does make sense that could be it!
     
  15. Thanks, yes, i've been following this thread too.

    As i posted yesterday that i suspected blueprint manager (Blueprint Manager) of causing server freezes as new people connected (that was not yet given the blueprints), i've now been able to confirm this issue & it's definiately this plugin causing server freezes (i've written in that plugin session to hopefully get an update on the plugin, it's just for your information if you're using it too!).

    I still got the server fps drops tho..

    For people who got a clue about the coding of the plugins, above speecher in this thread mentioned similar problems caused by this plugin: NoWorkbench , actually the blueprint manager has noworkbench option in it's config too i saw, maybe they got the same problem then? ^^
     
  16. im not able to confirm this for u as im ussing a different way to manage this with Kits SimpleLoot and BluePrintBlocker and some custom Hooks added to the DLL
