1. [1/2/2016 12:00:47 AM] IOException: Sharing violation on path C:\rustserver\server\myserver\save\Procedural Map_4500_1839567\1.sav

Getting this on server.save. This caused a rollback after the server restarted (10 seconds after the server.save) using 'restart' in the console. Server isn't responding to 'server.save' at all now, nor am I seeing any messages about auto save (every 5 minutes).

Beforehand, we've installed fresh, installed oxidemod, and our plugins. Running windows server 2012 r2 on a dedicated host with 32gb ram and SSD. Other than contacting our host (which we will do) what do you think is causing this? Is there a solution you know of? We've had this happen twice in the past 3 days.

We're using Arq to create backups (every hour). Is it possible this software is causing this exception?

A sharing violation may mean that the folder or file itself is read-only. It may also mean that the file is already open and write-protected until the process writing the file is closed. It is entirely possible that a backup routine is causing this issue for you. Usually this only happens if multiple instances of the same Rust server are running at the same time.

  3. Thanks so much, it helped just that.
My computer has this weird thing where the servers keep going after i close them - Resulting in a manual ctrl+alt+delete end of it, and i totally for got that.
    Cheers

  4. I have this as well... I posted here :

Server not saving map automatically | Oxide

I don't know what to do to solve the problem.

    In my procedural map folder i have 1.sav 2.sav 3.sav 4.sav and new.sav ( dating from 17/6 )

What can I do to avoid a 3 - or 4 days rollbacks as saves are not working anymore ? Thx
