Interested in a Rust server located in North America?

Canada doesn't have that many big cities and most of them are connected directly to major US cities. I don't know where Toronto hooks up but I know for sure there's a humongous connection between Montreal and New York so Montreal or NY for most Americans will have similar ping/latency. There's no difference for me whether a game server I connect to is in Montreal or NY, I get the same performance.

 

We need LA ASAP I will kill for it :3

 

We need way more than only one guy interested in a Server in LA, to start there at least 20 Server owners would be needed, otherwise it will end in a complete fiasco.

Once LA is done the next step would be Washington or Miami, and finally Hong Kong.

 

Ppl are okay with montreal but people will choose LA if its a choice well like 55% also can u add me on steam or something? I wanna talk

LA would be possible, but i costs like 5 times then Montreal, because the Protection is really expensive there ( 4 times the dedicated server price PER SERVER )

 

Some people dont mind DDOS protection, like my server heas a minimum of 30 only at once and a peak of 400, and I have never been ddos'ed (well once long ago)

 

That may be true, but you still need protection because after you get ddosed, your server will suffer.

 

True but we dont need crazy protection just get basic protection

 

I wouldn't say that, if you are a popular server you'll get targeted very soon, if your protection is crap your players are gone.

 

That happened to me before I had recieved my protection. Had 100+ players and afterwards it was around 30. So I recommend good protection.
