evreytime the server restarts it wipes all the rules and sets them back to there default :s

 

I have another problem. Just got our old server back and there is no announcer.json file under saves/oxide/config. In fact there are no other files in there as well.

 

hi i want to make a command so at night it says KoS is allowed then at day it says is not. i know you can get another plugin for this but it causes many problems if you need to do damage at day

i intall the Announcer.cs into the /oxide/saves/plugin folder. The .json is into the config folder. The plugin was running great. But now the file dont work anymore. I updated oxide allready and deinstall and install the announcer but still dont work. Do you have a other idea?

Is it possible to announce command but not as a text string but as an actual command? as example:

"Don't forget to bring your friends!",
"/kick hexu",
"Type /rules to see our server's rules!"

So every time it comes to this particular shout it will kick Hexu from server. Possible? and if so, how to do that?

I have downloaded the ''Announcer.cs'' plugin, and i occur some problems trying to change the messages it gives.

I have tried several times (like 8 times), when the server is online, when i restart, when i totally stop it and then change the config, but the config file just seems to reset itself to its standard and i dont know why it wont fix itself.

Im using WinSCP for the FTP files, and i change it, save it and then start the server and the standard shit is going over and over agian. I dont want to bother my players, restarting the server 100 more times so im looking for a solution here.

Anyone up to help me ?

 

I seem to be having a problem with the configuration .json file, I am trying to change the default announcements to what I need them to be as well as list my server's rules with the /rule command. For some reason, .json file rewrites itself to be the defaults after I have changed them, I have tried making the file read only as well but nothing works. I have used this plugin for a long time but all of a sudden it started to do this? Any help?

I am fairly new to reign of kings and their oxide so please be nice.

I would like to add my own custom messages to broadcast and delete the default ones. I have oxide and the plugin installed and working properly. Im sure I will need more help with other plugins but I will post new threads when I get to that point.

Hey guys i can't get the rules to update. I see all of this talk about a json but there is no json in the server ftp.

 

I have found the ftp file but cannot edit it i want to change the announcements idk how to go about it

 

How Do I Edit The Announcer.cs To Put My Own Rules And Everything In For Rp Server

 

When the plugin runs for the first time it will generate a file named Announcer.json in the config folder. You can simply edit the messages in that file to change them. After making the changes make sure your file is still valid json by validating it (www.jsonlint.com) and then update the server file and reload the plugin. Then the plugin should be using your own messages.
