Help with rust server set up

Hello everyone. I'm new to server hosting and I'm trying to make a small Rust server for my friends and I.
Ive already managed to set up the vanilla server and I am learning the port forwarding stuff, but i'm having trouble to turn it into a modded server with oxide, can you help me?
Here's what i did so far:
-downloaded the server file from playrust, installed and configured the .bat files accordingly to what i saw on the web;
-started the server, connected to it, closed it;
-downloaded the oxide main plugin from the website and extracted everything (overwriting whatever necessary) to my server's folder;
-started the server again and connected to it again.
The issue now is that, as far as ive seen, into my server's folder there should be the oxide subfolder with plugins folder (where im supossed to drop the plugins i download right?) but in the end there's no such a thing, all i have is a cfg folder and a bunch of .txt logs and the map files (.map and .sav)
What have i done wrong?

 

Do you have skype if so can help
The oxide folder will be in the root folder unless you add the line to your bat file
+oxide.directory "server/{server.identity}/oxide" ^

Note: Plugins should go in the server\my_server_identity\oxide\plugins folder.
If there is no such folder start your server as oxidemod creates the folder. Plugins can also be loaded while the server is online.

 

I don't have skype but i have TS and Discord, u got any of those?
Ive been trying everything and nothing so far. It just doesnt create the folder on my server, tried copying the oxide folder manually and placing the mods there but no luck still.

 

You need skype as I need to see your desktop

Thank you for the help! All plugins working fine, now i'm figuring the portforwarding stuff but that's another story
