Help with a custom plugin; GUI not working

K1lly0u was nice enough to adapt this plugin for me out of his Team Battlefield plugin. It works pretty darn well but I am having an issue where players are being auto-assigned to Albion instead of being presented the Selection GUI OnPlayerInit. Additionally, the auto-assignment doesn't write the data to the absolut_data.json.

If I execute the CMD commands for abs.assign the player is changed to the correct team and the data is written to the absolut_data.json file as should be expected.

Also as an admin if I execute /team I am presented the GUI and it works flawlessly; data written, etc.

I am guessing something is causing that auto-assignment that negates the need for the GUI to be triggered; but I don't know. I have read the plugin to many times to count and cant seem to find anything wrong.
