maybe change the gun for a battery - that way no one can get another and it cant be reskinned
After all no one is getting the gun just for the sake of a gun.

also an issue i havent noticed it decaying when dropped and being replaced in map also when the item is destroyed it retains a red marker but no ak?

Say we want to end the event for the AK - How ?
Also if we want to restart it that means we will have to reload the plugin and remove the config. -
if a player puts the ak in the Bank plugin or the backpack plugin it get busted and no logger works

So, how does this work? Can a player put it in a box? Or do they have to keep it in their inventory. What happens if a player drops it, and it despawns, does it randomly respawn somewhere else?

Okay, so I've installed this and the GUIAnnouncements, no one gets any notification whatsoever about the golden AK being picked up. Only me. I also see no spot in any config, as there is no config for GoldenAKChallenge to change anything. Help please?

Other plugins like PlayerSkins will overwrite the skin if any player has a default skin for the AK. Not sure you could fix that but having it be another entity might make sense. On my server I don't mind disabling a few plugins to have fun with this.

i removed this plugin as i cant find a use for it at moment.
If someone gets the Ak and then drops it the red dot will stay on the map - while the ak has despawned.
Somehow we need it to not be able to be despawned or the dot removed if it does. -
I have also removed the plugin. I love the concept of adding something fun like this to the server, but to be honest, the forcing of announcements Gui or whatever is annoying. Especially when it's a required dependency. I really don't like gigantic announcements popping up, and when there's no config to change or edit to show when someone gets the AK.
Example: Bob steals the AK after a successful raid. It should announce to the whole server that Bob now has the AK. All it does is announce to Bob that he picked it up.
Good idea, but too early to adopt for me. And I would Ditch the dependency on GUIAnnouncements, as it's more like GUIAnnoying. -
its a fun idea but needs work a few tweaks here and there will get her done probably.

One issue players will see, the same issue with Running Man, is that the players may not want others to know where they are located. With this mod that's unavoidable so given that penalty, players must get something really good in return and not just some penalty for holding an item that doesn't give them any valuable advantage.
Here's what I would suggest:
- Player holding the AK in their belt, will gain whatever items you specify at whatever interval you specify. For instance, if I have the AK, I will get one satchel charge every 5 minutes. If you want to go further, make it so that there is item graduation. For instance, if I have it for 5 minutes I get a satchel charge. If I have it for 15 minutes I might get C4, etc. etc. Time doesn't reset unless another player put it in their belt, but it stops when the player removes it from theirs.
- Make timed messages to alert the player of the rewards they get
- Make timed messages to alert the other players that they received an award
- Make messages (if not exist) to alert when the AK changes hands
- Make messages (if not exist) to alert when the item is dropped
- Make message when it's put into the belt to alert player they will start getting rewards
- Allow the AK to have it's skin set to any skin
- Make it work with LustyMap

Looks like there is more than 1 GOLD AK on map. I can see more than 1 player have a gold ak?

@Lamego hey so I think what really needs to be added is:
1) Golden ak has infinite ammo
2) PLAYER hat picks up Golden AK get notofied what it is and details of everything
3) every X amount of time the player who has it *(MUST BE ONLINE) gets X item as reward
4) Better Golden AK skin :3
This plugin has lotf of potential but until ^ those are added it has no real use since its feels 100% unfinished BUT I still appreciate the plugin! -
What is the ShortName for the skin use in this mod? I want to try and increase the damage done using the weapon damage scaler mod. Maybe there might be a way to write in as part of this mod?

Im new to server hosting and recently added the GoldenAKChallenge plugin. Other plugins seem to be working fine, however this particular one isn't.
I've checked the map and cannot see any red dot as indicated in the plugin description. Does anyone know how to get this to work?
