Godmode

OK so let me see if I got this straight....

godmode.toggle and godmode.admin are really the only permissions an admin needs to be in god mode... am i right?

The other permissions are in case you give godmode to others OR it is so you can give those modes individually without godmode??

I ask because I cannot figure out why godmode.invulnerability (as an example) would even be required if you are in godmode... isn't that an oxymoron??

On my server I gave myself godmode.admin and godmode.toggle and it seems to work... but as a prize in a contest I give godmode to a winner for a day... I need to know HOW to assign it to them and if I need to use the other 4 permissions or just do a /god <player> and then disable it after it is done.

OR can I do a /god <player> with the timer in the config set to say 24 hours worth of seconds OR does the timer also affect admins??

 

I must admit the information above are confused for me too too much godmode option were only a real english can understand.

We got a translation problem it not show the translated lang but only GodmodeDisabledBy GodmodeEnabledBy in chat other function text like god myself show GodmodeEnabled not Vous avez activé godmode untested all other function translation :/

 

i reload the latest update and says i don't have permission to use it even tho i granted myself to use it

 

I am even more confused now.... I thought setting a player to godmode was simply /god <player> so where do those other 4 permissions come in...

 

@Wulf I just updated it today I am stuck in godmode the toggleing isnt working

 

Nevermind If I read closely enough I can figure out what I did wrong Im sure you already know what I did

 

ok when ever i enable this for myself only via my steam id it eneables it for everyone on the server why is this

 

nope just checked its only on me i enable it for me only and it enables it for all players even if i disable it im stuck with the [god] tags and it wont go

 

nope just checked that 1 also no group has that i only have default and admin

if it helps i did do a clean install because of alot of memory isuses and client crashes with players and alot of plugins dont work

 

whats the best way to track this down then as i have checked and its not in any group its only on me as grant user name godmode.invulnerable

how do i go about the tag where is always shows [god] it wont go always there
