when i do /god it says i dont have permissions but im owner ? how do i give myself permission?

 

i typed in the oxide.grant user id canusegodmode command but nothing happened

I have done what i believe is everyone reading all the replies but It still says i don't have permissions to use this command. getting annoying now. There was a simple god mod before but now I cannot find it to reinstall it

I take that back, i have sorted it now, I had to use the ID64 not my username oops

 

whats the command to auth my self for this?

 

You need to be either owner or moderator and then in rcon grant user godmode: oxide.grant user (id64) canusegodmode

 

How does one set themselves as owner ?

in server console type ownerid <Steam64ID>

 

Thanks for your reply. Just tried ownerid "steamID" but it didn't work. I dont know why Rusty is not working for me either. Hard to set the server up correct without being set as owner or admin.

I went into my server hit f1 and typed .. ownerid 7060441010009321 "Joplin" "owner"... and nothing happened. also typed server.writecfg and nothing happened there either. do you know the name of the .cfg file that gets created? I can make a .cfg file with the info in it and upload it to the server files

 

Thanks again for your reply. Have you heard of any reason Rusty starts and shuts down right away. I'm only having this problem with Rusty since yesterday.

 

anyone finding that god mod it not always working. I cannot drown but spikes will harm me?? everything is on as per normal

 

nope, Godmode working fine for me. Just tested with spikes, traps, and animal attacks.

 

me it was working until i removed title and ranks plugin now it doesnt work i dont know why

 

i'll try a restart tomorrow and check , cheers
