Fly [Replaced]

What? Why do you need this key? answer : to disable it /fly. and to chat in game while flying

 

We need chat when flying...plz

 

Now to disable fly u need to press PrimaryAttack and SecondaryAttack buttons (see overview)

I can't enable chat (it's Rust update, not fly)

 

I must disable enter /fly at least. keyboard enter is not working . I must remove the plung in my ftp, to use my keyboard Enter key.

No, because now all you have to do is click your left and right mouse buttons (default keybinds) to land. Which is nice, but if you accidentally hit enter, you can no longer do anything except look around.

 

Then what do people do who are just perma stuck floating now?

I tried that from the start. Didn't work. It's like it's waiting for /fly (stuck) and there is no way to type that due to chat being gone.

I see what is happening. The stuck in space is because that's where you're put while spectating. Someone joined and now I'm stuck to them. I can't get out of fly mode but at least I'm in the game, sort of. I can switch from player to player. So now I'm stuck spectating....

Yeah happend to me too.. I was flying and disconnected cause i have to go.. when i joined back.. then POOF glitched only f1 and respawn works but plz fix it

 

Um... I do not like this update. The last version was way better. When I type /fly it will say fly activated and then the text disappears and so does my item bar and then I get stuck in fly mode because i can't type. And when I switch between players, it doesn't tell me who I am spectating because I can't see any text! I can't believe that such a good plugin was completely changed.

Well this sucks! Now I can't tp to a specific player using the /tp command to see if they are hacking without going out of fly mode. Hoping this gets changed.

 

WELL were do I begin again it was betterloot screwing up my server now its fly mode whats next rust stops working all together I know rust does an update dam those guys but everyday for the past week it seems one or two of the plug ins that need updates keep having conflicks with the oxide installed freezing the game or bouncing you right out of rust ive had a lot of die hard players going to play other games its now a full time job just getting plug ins to work so we all can enjoy the game I bet im not the only one who thinks that 15 dollars is suppose to give ya pleasure but more a pain in the butt so in closing my remarks ill keep my chin up high and hope like hell that another player on my server don't knock out my teeth with a toy pickaxe.PLEASE FIX WHAT WE PAY FOR TX.

 

Hey, i can't change this update, so if with next Rust update chat will be enabled then in fly he will be enabled too.

 

Thanks Bombardir, you've done a good job at this Fly plugin. I'll just deal with it for now, spacebar still works as said in this plugin and with the new Rust update. Spacebar spectate options works on the fly and very smooth. So it's ok for now. Keep up the good work!
[DOUBLEPOST=1427766739,1427548730][/DOUBLEPOST]I found out that putting up too many signs will make Rust crash. Especially using Fly mode then pushing spacebar to peak at a player. Once you crash, your body appears and the player you were trying to spectate will loot your stuff and figure out you were an admin, lol. So...make sure you don't have anything on you when spectating. I've gotten stuck twice while using first person fly mode, 3rd person seems to work well until a player has built too many signs, lol.

I've tested with 10 signs, when I remove about 10 signs from a test base. Teleporting in seems pretty smooth.

 

I have been using Fly for a long time. If you get stuck, cannot move, and can only look around, the quickest solution I found was to simply remove the Steam ID of the stuck Admin in the /persistence/player directory on your server. Restart the server and good to go. If you use Inventory guardian, it will restore whatever the Admin had on them at the time.
