I have deleted my old config file, all other files for this damage mod and I'm still getting this error:
[Oxide] 1:41 AM [Warning] Calling hook OnEntityTakeDamage resulted in a conflict between the following plugins: DMBuildingBlocks, DMDeployables
[Oxide] 1:41 AM [Warning] Calling hook OnEntityTakeDamage resulted in a conflict between the following plugins: DMBuildingBlocks, DMDeployables

[Oxide] 1:41 AM [Warning] Calling hook OnEntityTakeDamage resulted in a conflict between the following plugins: DMBuildingBlocks, DMDeployables
How can I clear this up? This is making my RUSTY RCON console crash and these warnings pop up every second or two.
Thank you.Last edited by a moderator: Feb 16, 2016 -
Here 3 questions
1. If I am granted permission and I have everything set to false, no one can destroy my building, correct?
2. Does the setting to true or false have to be set before building the blocks?
3. Someone without permission to the plugin, their building blocks would or wouldn't be destroy-able dependent on the config files original settings? -
Look at it like a question.... "I want triangle foundation protected? true/false = yes/no."
2.No. You can build a castle unprotected and then change your cfg settings to True and it will be protected.....AFTER you restart the server.
You must reboot your server after making changes to the CFG file. At least this has been my experience.
3. I believe the protection is "server wide" not player to player-permission based; if I understand the question correctly. Per the way you set up the cfg file, building blocks are either protected or they are not. Admins can still destroy any players blocks with their hammer but other then that I have to use r-remove plugin so players can destroy their own bases. Tool Cupboards still protect other players from removing others building blocks in this manner.
Note: Unless its a conflict in the plugins I use, I can not remove a water catcher at all even when using /remove admin. So I have to leave this item as false so that I can delete them with "C4 explosive" if someone needs it moved or removed.
I hope this helps answer your question in some way; good luck. -
Because how im understanding how this plugin works is, once its set to TRUE they are not able to destroy it, its server wide and not just allocated to the current building. -
I have a twig maze on my server as well and no one can destroy it. Just make sure you have tool cupboards in place to they can not use the remove tool to take out walls.
As for isolating a single build, such as protecting your maze from being destroyed but not the other bases/homes on the server, I'm not sure that's possible. I think it's everything on the server set TRUE is protected or its not no matter the upgrade level. Maybe someone else here may know otherwise.
Just remember if you make changes to your cfg file you may need to restart the server before you see the changes go into effect. -
So if its set to TRUE on all blocks, nobody's blocks can be destroyed unless authorized by a toolcupboard? So how can people raid others if all the buildings are locked from being destroyed? -
I've listed below what the differences between DM Building Blocks and DM Deployables are below.
So unless you have doors protected with DM Deployables they can still be destroyed by c4, rockets, etc. and the walls in your maze will still be safe.
Of course this limits the way players can raid a base, forces them to destroy doors only but if you take the protection off the bases you also take it off the maze. Maybe someone else knows of another way that I don't. I run a PVE server with a lot of crazy animals eating players so I haven't messed with a config for a pvp server using this mod.
This plug in, Building Blocks, is only for protecting:

Hi.
Could it be possible to have a command that allows to protect all buildings for a certain period ? Let's say, as an admin, I don t want people to be able to detroy a house from 6pm till 23pm except for those havins building privilege for their own house with remove tool for example is that possible ? Would it be possible ? -
dose it work whit removetool?
-
i get this plugin and its work but doesnt correctly it will get the damage and permission.
this is my fault ? i dont know but i want the like this plugin just friends add the permission building block ? -
what if the owner wants to destroy it when building something differently etc? does remove work? or is there commands?
-
do you want add bypass like, "owner entity can destroy via tools" or " admin can destroy via tools" ?
-
-
Can you add a damage modifier per item?
I would love to make certain items more immune to damage but not completely immune. Having a damage multiplier per item would be so handy if possible!
