asked my server host (Multiplay-Clanforge) to edit plugin but got this reply

 

If you are using better chat plugin this plugin will conflict with it could be why it won't work for you also better chat has a mute option so remove this plugin and use mute from better chat

 

I do not use chat mute itself , it is installed when you install chat handler ,. if you uninstall it, it will be reinstalled as an "addon" for chat handler . i only get the error message in rust i/o console and in console for clanforge whenever i type anything into it, as chat handler works fine and does everything i need i dont want to remove it.

and no , i am not using an outdate version of oxide .

i use now oxide 2012 and chatmute not work ^^

i hope the developer read the text and fix it fast <3

 

Changing OnRunCommand to OnServerCommand seemed to fix the issue of players being muted but then still being able to chat.

It needs to work together with playermanager. That is the problem.

 

I know it is no longer maintained but muted people can still write.

 

i cant download this plugin... it says i dont have permission to do that?
