Thats what I do. When stuck, start over.

I would highly suggest running it off an external server (rent one for 10$). In my experience, self hosting is always an issue, with permissions, ports, locations, management, security, etc.

Or join someone that has a server

 

In rcon type this
oxide.grant group admin removeaaa.*
make sure you add the .* as well and make sure you are in the admin group if you have made a custom group name then change it in the above command

 

He doesnt have rcon setup, I think he has to start from scratch and go through the tutorial. Use Linux Debian 8, cheap, fast, easy to figure out.

 

He does not need rcon he can use f1 from in game

 

Im In The Middle Of Reinstalling if it doesnt work i am going to need your help

 

Didnt realize rcon was the console, thought it was just the external connector to the console.

If you still cannot manage to get it running, and if you are interested, I can duplicate my server for you on OVH. Just an option if you cant get past this.

You will need to type out each step you took from first making your server to the fist time logging in as you have made mistakes somewhere. I might help you over skype but only if you have the time and if the time suits us both
